Ditching contractor pre-booking opens 1 August for autumn works

Our ditching diary for the autumn 2026 window opens on 1 August. As in previous years, we expect to be fully committed by the second half of September — particularly for repeat customers on the Brue and Parrett catchments where we already know the ground.

Pre-booking is by phone only. We will ask for a rough scope (length of ditch, access, spoil disposal) and an approximate date band. A firm date and quotation follows after a site visit, usually within ten working days.

We do not take deposits and we do not chase you for a confirmation — if the plan changes, just let us know in good time so the slot can go to someone else.
